Alarm on Calendar — real alarms for your calendar

Alarm on Calendar collects no data. The app has no server, it does not connect to the internet, and it sends information nowhere. Everything it does happens inside your iPhone.

What data we collect

None. We do not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, no advertising identifiers, no analytics, no tracking tools and no third-party SDKs.

What the app uses, and where it stays

Your calendar events

To schedule an alarm before an event, the app needs to know when that event starts. With your permission it reads your calendars through EventKit, Apple's calendar system built into iOS.

• Reading happens entirely on the device.
• Your event data never leaves the iPhone.
• The app keeps no copy of your events: it reads them when it needs them.
• The app does not modify your calendars, and never creates events.

Google and Microsoft calendars

The app does not connect to Google or to Microsoft, and it never asks you for your credentials. If you have those accounts added under iOS Settings → Apps → Calendar → Accounts, iOS itself syncs them, and the app merely reads what your iPhone already stores locally, exactly as it does with iCloud.

Your preferences

Your settings (alarm lead time, the mode you picked, which calendars are enabled, and the alarms you switch on or off event by event) are saved in the app's local storage on your device. They are not synced to iCloud or to any server.

Alarms

Alarms are scheduled with AlarmKit, Apple's alarm system. iOS manages them and rings them; we neither take part in that nor receive any information about it.

No network access

This is not merely a promise. The app contains no networking code and its binary does not even link the system networking libraries (CFNetwork, Network.framework). It uses no third-party dependencies or libraries. It technically cannot send anything anywhere.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, regardless of age, and is not specifically directed at children under 13.

Third parties

We share no data with third parties, quite simply because we have none to share. The app integrates no advertising, measurement or attribution services.

Your rights

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to provide, correct or delete. Uninstalling the app removes the settings stored on your device along with it. You can revoke calendar and alarm permissions whenever you want from iOS Settings.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes in the future, this page and its date will be updated. Any substantial change in how data is handled will also be reflected on the App Store listing.
