Prompter Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 August 2026

Prompter does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There are no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Everything you do in the app stays on your iPhone.

What data is collected

None. Prompter includes no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting SDK. The app makes no network requests at all: it works exactly the same in airplane mode.

The permissions the app asks for, and why

Where your script is stored

Your script and your settings (text size, speed, line spacing, panel opacity and height) are saved in the app's local storage, on your device. They are not synced to any cloud or to any other device. If you delete the app, they go with it.

Where your videos end up

When you stop a recording, the video is saved to your iPhone's photo library. From that point on it is a file of yours like any other: Prompter does not copy it, does not upload it and never accesses it again. If you have iCloud Photos turned on, your video follows whatever sync rules you have already set up with Apple, with no involvement from Prompter.

Third parties

Prompter shares no information with third parties, because there is no information to share. The app contains no third-party services that collect data in the background.

Children

The app is not specifically directed at children and, since it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Prompter were ever to process data, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be reflected in the date above.
